This program presents live Civil War era music with sing-alongs, costumed performers reading from the journals of a citizen nurse who served at this hospital and a soldier who was treated here, together with the reading of poetry which captures the emotion and pathos of this tragic period in our history.
It brings to life the events which occurred in this historic building when 140 wounded and dying soldiers were treated during and after the Battle of Gettysburg.
