General Pickett's Buffet
It's easy to find southern hospitality north of the Mason Dixon Line at General Pickett's Buffet Restaurant.
Located on the southern edge of Gettysburg, General Pickett's offers an extensive lunch and dinner buffet featuring fresh baked breads, homemade soups, salad bar and tempting dessert table with homemade pies and cakes. Enjoy down home cooking in a family atmosphere.
Lunch buffet is served from 11 am through 3:30 pm, Monday through Saturday and includes an extensive fifty-item salad bar with homemade soups, fresh baked bread, and seasonal fruits. The hot buffer offers the chef’s daily specialties, including baked or barbecued chicken, homemade meatloaf, veal parmigiana, chicken nuggets, Salisbury steak, vegetables, side dishes and a full dessert table.
The General's Dinner Buffet begins at 4:00 pm daily, Monday through Saturday and is served exclusively on Sunday’s beginning at 11 am. Enjoy all-you-can-eat dining, including carved top round of beef and ham, Southern-style fried tilapia, barbecued spare ribs, baked chicken, spicy shrimp Creole and a variety of fresh vegetables and casseroles. Begin your feast with the salad bar and complete your dinner with selections of homemade pies and cakes. Cocktails are available for your dining enhancement.
General Pickett's takes pride in assuring customer satisfaction and specializes in courteous, efficient seating for tour groups. Private rooms for banquets and meetings are available. A large parking area assures ample parking and the one-level entrance, dining room and restrooms are easily accessible. Reservations are not required, but are requested for your convenience when bringing a group.
In the winter of 2006, General Pickett's Buffets expanded to include the Gettysburg Battle Theatre and Gift Shop. You will find the Gift Shop on the second level of our building, above the restaurant. The Theatre is on the third level.
