A weekend with Tom Desjardin, author of "Stand Firm Ye Boys From Maine", focusing on the accounts of General Joshua Chamberlain and the 20th Maine.
Arrive early enough to enjoy First Friday activities with some of the town's finest merchants. Our inn will be offering ghost stories at 8 PM on Friday.
Saturday morning at 10 AM, after a sumptuous breakfast, visit the battlefield site of the Chamberlain Campaign.
The historic Dobbin House will provide a hearty autumn lunch for you, Mr. Desjardin and your Bed & Breakfast hosts on Saturday afternoon. Following lunch and an entertaining session with Mr. Desjardin, you will receive your own autographed copy of Mr. Desjardin's book.
A personal book signing will provide the perfect ending to your 'Chamberlain Experience'.
