Historic Conewago Valley Tour
The self-guided Historic Conewago Valley Tour takes you east and northeast of Gettysburg, offering you a view of the East Cavalry Battlefield, Victorian New Oxford and Early-American East Berlin. This tour covers approximately 40 miles of historic and scenic Adams County. The route is marked with "Historic Conewago Tour" signs, making it easy to follow. The tour will pass by the Salem United Methodist Church (circa 1904), working farms, antique dealers, and the Great Conewago Presbyterian Church (circa 1787). You will even travel Shriver’s Corner Road, the second oldest road in Adams County and a road used by George Washington in his journey through this historical area.
